The development of a new silage additive is difficult and takes a long time. This is because the silage process is complicated and the demands on additives are high. We have since 1951 developed and worked with a number of different silage additives. From the beginning it was Kofa in powder form and now we have developed Safesil.

Safesil is the new generation additive developed to help create high quality silage. Many additives works well in certain crops or in certain DM-levels, some works only during the actual loading and the primary fermentation. Safesil is a triple acting additive that works in any case, 15 to 50% DM content, for all crops and for all storage alternatives.

Furthermore, Safesil ensures not only a high nutritional value but also silage free from yeast and mould, which most other additives cannot cope with in all circumstances.

We also focus on handling and environment. Our additive does not affect the machines and is environmentally friendly. Last but not least it is not an allergenic, which some additives might be.
