Salinity UK have launched a new sheeting solution for weatherproofing bulk salt stockpiles. We developed our own proprietary solution to offer superior performance that we felt was not available elsewhere in the market. Sal-sheet provides a highly durable and re-useable, modular sheeting system able to cope with the rigours of both the harsh wind and weather, plus man-handling and re-positioning encountered with operational stockpiles. The system incorporates an innovative industrial Velcro joint which enables both reduction and safe storage of the sheet modules as the pile is consumed, and easy re-positioning without the need for special tools or materials. Additionally, the sheeting modules are made in a factory environment from heavy duty polyethylene which is not punctured or cut at any stage in installation or use and these factors ensure against ripping from wind. Accordingly, we provide a 12 month warranty and would expect the sheet to have a serviceable life of up to 5 years.

Salinity UK is using the ‘Sal-sheet’ system for its own supply customers, our own inventory stockpiles and other industry stockists and their customers. We provide a turnkey service to deal with the entire process from stockpile profiling to sheet completion.
